Fonon DSS Appoints Business Development ManagerLaser Solutions Company Expands to Meet DemandDecember 10, 2008, Lake Mary, FL.– Fonon DSS (Display & Semiconductor Systems), a division of Fonon Technology International, the world renowned inventor and manufacturer of Zero Width Laser Cutting TechnologyTM announced today the appointment of Rick Powers to Business Development Manager. Bringing to Fonon DSS a technical background in Laser Electro Optics and Electronics, Rick will be responsible for building and maintaining market share. Rick brings over 20 years of experience working with various laser technologies including industrial, scientific, medical, and semiconductor applications and extensive international business experience primarily in Europe and Asia. Most recently, Rick was the West Coast Service Manager for Excel Technologies and Director of Operations for Micronic Laser Systems US office.
